Our receptionists will take your call between 8:30 and 18:00.

We offer a range of appointment types: 50% of our appointments are 'book on the day' appointments. 30% are pre bookable and the rest are reserved for telephone consultations. Telephone consultations can be booked well in advance if needed.

Our surgery runs a personal list system, which means that wherever possible you will see the doctor of your choice. However, if that doctor is not available, you will be able to see one of the other doctors.

Telephone Consultations

We now offer the convenient option of speaking to your Doctor by phone, saving you having to come into the surgery.

If you wish to have a phone consultation, please be prepared to let the receptionist know a few details of what you wish to discuss, so that the doctor is able to prepare for the call.

Booking an Appointment with the Practice Nurse or Health Care Assistant Team

We also offer appointments to see our Practice Nurse and Health Care Assistant Teams, below are some of the services they offer.

To book these appointments you will need to contact the surgery, either by phone or come into reception; these appointments can be booked up to four weeks in advance.

The Practice Nurse Team

We have three Practice Nurses; Clare, Karen and Susie. They remove stitches, perform dressings and wound care, cervical smears and ear syringing. They help with the management of chronic disease such as asthma, diabetes, stroke and heart disease. They also offer advice on and carry out childhood and travel immunizations and vaccinations.

The Health Care Assistant Team

Our health care assistants are Sharon and Lynne. They do blood tests,  blood pressure checks, and  ECG's, as well as running the stop-smoking clinic.
